We’re not too surprised by the results of last week’s question: “What do you think of non-traditional wedding attire?” Based on most of the awesome weddings we get the joy of seeing through Glö, it’s clear that a lot of you can appreciate a little funk combined with some tradition in your idea of a wedding. 80% of you said that you think non-traditional wedding attire is FANTASTIC! and 20% of you said you think it’s cool for someone else. Thanks for sharing! And now for this week’s question! Wedding planning is, for some people, a lifelong hobby. From the time they were little, they would dream of colors and flowers and act it out with their stuffed animals. By the time they get engaged, they know EXACTLY how they want things. On the other extreme, getting engaged brings on a stint of anxiety because they know that they have to face wedding planning of some sort. We’d love to hear where you fall on that spectrum! And if you can’t make up your mind, you can take their online “what kind of bride am I” quiz! Have I already mentioned how fun this is? As if that’s not cool enough, they also have all the shoe/jewelry/lingerie options you need. And we all know how cool their accessories tend to be Honestly, I’m actually really really bummed right now that I’m already married because I would snatch one of these beauties up so quickly it would be ridiculous. But alas, I’ll just have to live vicariously through all of you… So, all you Glö-Brides out there, join with me in a great big cheer for more “atypical” options for […]

I remember back to the first days when Enrico and I started planning our wedding. Neither of us had really thought about what we’d wanted (other than hosting a fab party in Italy that our friends and family would really enjoy.) We set out by promising ourselves that we were going to remain low stress and that we wouldn’t argue at all about any of the details. (um, yeah…I know.)
