It is okay to settle your grievances over the courts of law: Using the legal system does some really good things: it reminds the fraudulent politicians of their responsibilities to their voters; corruption is exposed; the landmark case upon which future court cases may be argued and decided is done; and yes it puts electoral riggers about the defensive, hence demystifying their invincibility.
