About the size of a smaller cauliflower, the mind is often a mass of jelly-like fats and tissues weighing approximately 1.4 kilograms. It contains about 100 billion neurons that coordinate our both mental and physical processes, and its divided into four areas - the cerebrum (the biggest part of the brain; it sits near the top of the organ), the cerebellum (sits within the back with the cerebrum and it is the second largest area of the mind), the diencephalon (located within the middle from the cerebrum at the top of the brain stem) and your brain stem (posterior part of mental performance, responsible for many life support processes such as regulating heart rate).
