Traditional adult rheumatology training includes four years of medical school, one year of medical internship, two years of medical inpattern and two years of rheumatism association. The American board of Internal Medicine offers a sub-specialty committee for rheumatology certification that can provide board approval to approved rheumatologists. They examine the historical conflict between race and gender issues inside the Black community, the impact of feminism, the role of the Black Church, attitudes about sexuality, and popular culture like hip-hop. The authors boldly assert that, without care about these tips, there is no long-lasting solution to many from the community's race problems. They point out the impact of sexism on the oppression of Black women, including male dominance within Black communities.
