Finding your perfect Glösite background design

You guys know that I go all smiles when I witness your creativity first-hand. This is why I’m always pushing the development team to give you new ways to customize your sites and vites. Last week, we rolled out a new feature that lets you upload and/or customize the background designs and colors on your Glösites. I’ve seen several amazing creations so far – so I know you’re already all over it! I started thinking…there must be a million and one sites that offer free background patterns. One search for “background pattern designs” totally confirmed my suspiscions. I found everything from libraries filled with thousands of designs to sites that actually let you build your own background. Here are a couple that I thought were worth sharing, but there are a slew more where this came from – so just get searching! Pattern Cooler lets you choose from a huge number of seamless-pattern designs. These are designs that create a repetitive pattern when tiled. I love the variety they have. New spandangaly features and functionality

The fabulous developers at Glö have done it again. Taken all your feedback onbard and turned it into fresh, new features for your enjoyment. Here’s the skinny on what’s been rolled out today: 1) Edit HTML on your Glösite pages When you’re editing Glösite pages, you’ll now see a little button labeled ‘HTML’ on the text editor. With one click, a new box will open up where you can edit the HTML for the page to your heart’s content! This will enable you to add widgets and other fun stuff anywhere on the page. Of course, the widget box at the bottom is still fully functional in case you’re not feeling up-to-par on your HTML skills. For an overview of different HTML code options, I find W3Schools is usually quite helpful. 2) Edit background image and color on your Glösite Giving you even more control over your Glösite look and feel – you can now upload images and change the background color of your Glösite. Just to clarify, the background area starts at the side edges of your Glösite page and extends out horizontally to the edges of the web browser your guests are using to view your site. You […]

Hey y’all! An update from Glö HQ. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes at Glö to constantly improve things for you, our beloved Glö-bies. After all, you make the world go round for us. (Aww.) I’m always listening out for feedback about what’s working, what’s not and what new features you’d like to see. Over the past few months, we’ve been rolling out lots of new things – some big, some small. Many of you have probably noticed changes here and there, but we thought we’d make it official and give you a list of the major highlights: Designs More Designs! you shouted, and we heard ya. We added 30+ new matching Glövite and Glösite designs More Glövite fonts!, you pleaded. So we added a bazillion new ones. Now you can create even funkier announcements, invitations, save-the -dates and group thank yous. My favorite new font has to be Lemon Chicken… Manage Guests Add guests without email addresses or last names (a massively popular request.)
